Spring Field Trip Update

As of March 11, 2020, the University of Notre Dame has suspended all in-class instruction through April 13 for pubic health reasons related to COVID19. The DNA Learning Center is a hands-on instruction center, therefore we will not host any field trips  in that time window. If you had previously scheduled a field trip prior to April 13, we will work with you to figure out if we can accommodate another date or if we will need to wait until next year. If you have a field trip scheduled after April 13, we are waiting until the week of April 3 to hear what guidance the University of Notre Dame will have regarding in-person instruction. …

As the country and world grapples with the COVID-19 pandemic, we are optimistic that our summer programming will go on as scheduled. If, for public health reasons, we need to cancel any of the programs, all registration fees would be returned fully. As a reminder, our general cancellation policy gives you until May 1 to cancel for any reason minus a $50 processing charge. In the case of the extraordinary circumstances that processing charge can be waived.…

Home School Student Day at the DNA Learning Center Nov. 4

Support the DNA Center on Notre Dame Day

During the Annual Notre Dame Day, the University is giving away $1 million dollars based on the votes collected by groups across campus. For a $10 gift to the DNA Center, you get 5 votes. Last year, each vote was worth ~14 so a $10 gift results in ~$75 to the DNA Center. We use that money to subsidize lab costs and offer scholarships to our summer camps. DNA Day coincidentally overlaps with Notre Dame Day so we encourage you to combine the effect of these two days!…

We will have 3 weeks of residential camps, 2 weeks of day camps and NEW for 2016 a Beginner Workshop for students completed grades 5 and 6. All other summer camps will be intended for students who have completed grades 7 and 8, though we will be open to including early high school students as well.
